Ecuador reports on September oil exports

Ecuador's oil export revenues totalled $ 355.71 mm in September 2004, a 57 % increase from the $ 227.09 mm registered in the same month of 2003, the central bank said.
In terms of volume, Ecuador exported 10.97 mm barrels in September, up 11 % from the 9.85 mm barrels shipped one year early. That translates into exports of 365,600 bpd in September, up 11 % from 328,266 bpd in September 2003.

According to the central bank, the average price of crude in September increased 40.6 % to $ 32.43 per barrel from $ 23.06 a barrel in the same month of 2003.
Of the total exported in September, according to the Central Bank, 6.87 mm barrels, or 62.6 %, were sold by private companies operating in Ecuador, obtaining revenue of about $ 220.85 mm. The remaining was exported by state-run PetroEcuador.
