Russia reports on oil and gas production

The production of oil, including gas condensate, amounted to 341 mm tons in Russia in January to September 2004, which was a 9.6-% increase in comparison to the corresponding period in 2003, the Federal Statistics Service reported.
Crude oil processing advanced 1.7 % to 144 mm tons in the reported period. The production of gasoline gained 2.8 % to 22.3 mm tons; the production of diesel fuel increased 1.3 % to 40.6 mm tons.

In addition, natural gas production stepped up 2.6 % to 465 bn cm in January to September 2004.
