Husky Energy sets 2005 capex

Husky Energy has set a capital-spending program of C$ 2.5 bn for 2005.
The company said the program is for the development of several major projects, including the White Rose offshore oil project on Canada's east coast, and the development of upstream assets in western Canada and offshore China.

For 2005, Husky said it estimates production of 325,000-350,000 bpd of oil equivalent. It said production of light oil and natural gas liquids is estimated to be 64,000-71,000 bpd, medium oil production is estimated at 32,000-36,000 bpd and heavy oil production is estimated at 112,000-120,000 bpd.
Natural gas production is estimated to be 700-740 mm cfpd.
