Kazakhstan reports on oil and gas output

Kazakhstan produced 15.642 mm tons of oil and gas condensate in the first quarter, up 12.8 % from the same period last year, according to preliminary figures. Gas condensate production totalled 628,258 tons, up 17.3 % year-on-year.
KazMunaiGaz produced 2.247 mm tons of oil and condensate in the period, up 10.1 %, a government source told. This included 1.575 mm tons of oil produced by Ozenmunaigaz (up 14.2 %) and 5,880 tons of condensate (down 13 %), 659,900 tons of oil produced by Embamunaigaz, up 0.5 %, and 6,556 tons of gas condensate produced by Amangeldy Gas.

Enterprises with KazMunaiGaz investment produced 3.978 mm tons of oil in the first quarter, up 4.1 % year-on-year. Most of the oil was produced by TengizChevrOil at 3.521 mm tons, up 1 % year-on-year.
Other oil producers in Kazakhstan extracted 9.417 mm tons of oil in the first quarter, up 17.9 %. Among them were Mangistaumunaigaz with 1.355 mm tons, up 7.9 %, Mangistau region produced 2.486 mm tons), CNPC-Aktobemunaigaz produced 1.332 mm tons, up 0.8 % (1.387 mm tons produced in Aktyubinsk region), Karachaganak Petroleum Operating produced 2.666 mm tons, up 51 % (2.693 mm tons in West Kazakhstan region), and PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources produced 1.042 mm tons, up 0.3 % year-on-year (2.691 mm tons produced in Kyzylorda region).

Oil and gas condensate production in March totalled 5.457 mm tons, including 408,542 tons of condensate.
KazMunaiGaz produced 777,830 tons of oil and condensate in March.
