Iran is negotiating exploration of Caspian hydrocarbon resources with international companies active in the field.

A Ministry of Petroleum official told that the 10th International Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals Exhibition is a good opportunity for consultation with international companies that are currently engaged in exploration activities in Caspian Sea.
"Officials from Ministry of Petroleum will meet representatives of companies active in northern Iranian neighbours that are experienced in the field of deep water exploration on the sidelines of the exhibition to discuss development of cooperation," he noted.
