Managing director of MAPNA Company noted that Tehran and Rome have cooperated in building six power plants which indicates good cooperation grounds in the field of electricity.
Mousa Refan stated that the power plants were built within frame of a contract signed between Italy’s Ansald and Energia companies and Iran’s MAPNA.

He added that the projects included Kerman, Kazeroun and Damavand power plants while Sanandaj and Shirvan power plants will become operational within the next two years.
“Toga and Pars Generator companies have also been equipped and are currently producing turbines,” he said.
