Turkmenistan reports on oil production

Turkmenistan produced 7.3 mm tons of oil in the first nine months of 2005, an on-year rise of 2.5 % over the January-September period of last year, according to the Ministry of oil and gas industry and mineral resources of Turkmenistan.
The surplus was provided by the republic's foreign partners -- British Burren Resources and British-Arab Dragon Oil. Turkmenneft State Concern extracted 5.7 mm tons of black gold, 1,1 % less than the same period of 2004.

In January-September, oil refineries of Turkmenistan processed 5.1 mm tons of oil.
The country produced 1,251.5 thousand tons of gasoline, 1,398.5 thousand tons of diesel, 64.7 thousand tons of polypropylene, 35.3 thousand tons of lubricants and 287.8 thousand tons of liquefied gas.
