Iran to boost gas reserves in three fields

Sep 26, 2005 02:00 AM

Development of Shanol, Varavi and Homa gas fields would add 310 bn cm to the country’s recoverable reserves.
The three fields are estimated to hold 437,000 bn cm of gas. Shanol, Varavi and Homa are expected to give 113, 60 and 137 bn cm of gas respectively.

The three fields can also give more than 14,000 barrels of gas liquids.
The fields would start production once Parsian-2 Refinery comes on-stream.
