Kuwait to build next gas plant
Kuwait will build its fourth gas plant with a capacity of 500 mm cfpd to meet the world's surging demand.
Ahmadi refinery's technical services department director Jaleel Shishtari said that the new plant will reduce
pressure on the existing three plants that are currently operating at their maximum capacities.
The project will also contribute to maintenance of other plants and refinery facilities and help avoid emergency
halt.
The new plant, with a cost of $ 578 mm, will produce methane, ethane, propane, butane and pentane.
