China's oil and gas pipeline industry is stepping into its heyday. At least seven oil and gas pipelines have kicked off construction or come onstream.
In northeast China, PetroChina's Daqing-Qiqihar gas pipeline, with a length of 148.8 km, just started construction. It is projected to start operation at the end of this year.

In the northwest, China Gas recently announced to invest in Inner Mongolia Natural Gas Long Transportation Construction Company for a 65 % equity and for the company's fifth long-distance natural gas pipeline, which will be constructed this June with the first phase investment of yuan 400 mm.
In South China, Sinopec's project, so called Zhuahai Tangjia Oil Tank pipeline, has passed through examination, signalling the Pearl River Delta pipeline projects are fully completed. The Pearl River Delta Pipelines, 1,100 km long, interrelate Guangdong province's refineries and oil tanks.

In the west, the Sebei-Ge'ermu natural gas pipeline II, measuring 177.25 km, was put into operation in May, able to annually transport 2 bn cm of natural gas.
In central China, the Sichuan-East China pipeline project began recently. The pipeline, spanning 1,700 km, will run from Sichuan to Shanghai.

PetroChina's Yumen Measurement Centre came onstream in May, suggesting that Yumen Refinery's oil products were able to inject into the artery of western oil product pipelines. Besides, PetroChina's Dagang-Zaozhuang oil product pipeline recently started its trail operation.
The second West-East Natural Gas Pipeline is on the way of feasibility study.

Abroad, PetroChina announced to establish a 360-km crude oil pipeline for UAE.
