Shell unveils NAM licence sale

Oct 17, 2007 02:00 AM

Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell said that NAM, its Dutch joint venture with ExxonMobil, is set to sell a number of its offshore licences.
The licences include producing fields on the Dutch continental shelf.

The fields and facilities to be divested are located in an area of the North Sea, Shell said.
NAM said the move was part of its long-term strategy and would not lead to reduction in overall employment.
