Ecuador’s 2007 average crude output fell 4.6 % on year

Ecuador's average oil output last year fell 4.6 % to 511,088 bpd from 536,033 bpd in 2006, the Central Bank said.
The country's total 2007 oil production was 186.54 mm barrels, down from the previous year's 195.65 mm barrels.

State oil output averaged 258,450 bpd in all 2007, while private companies' oil output was 252,638 barrels day.
For 2008, Ecuador expects oil output to be 190.12 mm barrels, according to official data.
