Polish firm plans diesel pipeline from Belarus

Nov 10, 2008 01:00 AM

By the end of 2010 Poland's Liquid Fuel Logistic Operator (OLPP) hopes to complete a diesel pipeline from Belarus to supply an annual 2 mm tons of diesel fuel to Poland, OLPP boss Wojciech Wlodarczyk said.
"We plan to complete the whole pipeline in early 2011 but we want the first diesel to flow down it already in the fourth quarter of 2010," Wlodarczyk said.

He added that fuel transported via the pipeline would be stored in OLPP's fuel depots in Malaszowice.
In 2007 Poland produced 7.6 mm and imported almost 3.8 mm tons of diesel fuel.
