Kazakhstan's oil exports edge down

Kazakhstan's oil exports decreased in 2008, the republic's statistics agency reported.
According to the agency, Kazakhstan exported just shy of 60.709 mm tons of oil and gas condensate in 2008, 0.1 % less than la year earlier.

In terms of value, oil and gas condensate exports amounted to $ 43.508 bn, a 54.7-% rise from 2007.
In 2008, the republic produced 58.714m tons of crude oil and 12.024 mm tons of gas condensate.
