LUKoil to invest $ 480 mm in Uzbekistan

Russia's LUKoil Company will invest $ 480 mm into the exploration and production of oil and gas in Uzbekistan over 2010, Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov told.
Russia's Gazprom, LUKoil and Soyuzneftegaz companies are present in Uzbekistan's market, he said.

"We are actively cooperating in fuel and energy," Ivanov said. "Analysts say that over the past few years only LUKoil has invested several billion dollars in Uzbekistan."
The investments planned for the current year "is big money," the deputy prime minister said.
