Iran has provided almost all necessary conditions to start oil extraction at the Jofeir oilfield, Head of the Iran's Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei told.
This project will be profitable for both the countries. This topic was discussed in detail last winter during the visit of Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei to Minsk. Important agreements were reached then.

"Iran is open for cooperation with Belarus, be it an economic, political or any other area. We were interested in making our Belarusian friends our partners in the oil projects. Therefore, during my previous visit to Minsk, we have reached all necessary agreements in order to prompt the work in this direction," he said.
"Insignificant difficulties have been removed and now we can talk about a considerable breakthrough in this area," Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei noted.

The Head of the Iran's Presidential Office stressed that all the issues related to oil cooperation with Belarus and the joint activity at the Jofeir oilfield, in particular, is under his personal control.
"There is a preliminary agreement that the President of Belarus will visit Iran as soon as the practical implementation of the project will be launched," Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei said.
