Russia to supply 5.75 mm tons of oil to Belarus in Q3-2013

In Q3-2013 Russia will supply 5.75 million tons of oil to Belarus.
The information was released by First Vice Premier of Belarus Mr Vladimir Semashko on 4 April at the presentation of the first road grader made by ZAO Amkodor-Unikab.

The official said that in line with the agreements Belarus intends to get 23 million tons of Russian oil in 2013, more than in 2012 when Belarus received 21.5 million tons of oil. In 2012 Russian oil deliveries were less than 20 million tons.
The official attributed the increase to the larger market demand.

“The oil refineries in Mozyr and Novopolotsk invest heavily in modernization for the sake of raising the quality of their products and enhancing the output capacity,” said the First Vice Premier. “Three years ago both refineries processed 9 million tons of oil each, today they process about 12 million tons each”.
“The increase in oil purchases follows the spirit of the agreements on creating the Single Economic Space,” added Vladimir Semashko.
