Sasol and Osho win Mozambican gas tender
Mozambique said that South African petrochemical giant, Sasol and International Consortium Osho were the winners of a
concession to explore for gas in two sedimentary basin areas in Mozambique.
Mozambique launched a public tender last December for the concession of nine potential hydrocarbon areas in
Mozambique, and received proposals for just three of the areas located in Inhambane province and the Cabo Delgado
province.
The Osho consortium is made up of OPII-Orient Petroleum International of Pakistan, ETA Star Holdings of the United Arab Emirates and Mozambique's Osho Energia.
