Cepsa and Sonatrach sign annual 1.6 bn cm natural gas deal

Cia Espanola de Petroleos SA (Cepsa) said it has signed an agreement to acquire an annual 1.6 bn cm of natural gas
over 20 years from Algeria's Sonatrach.
Cepsa said it will acquire the gas in Algeria to transport through the Medgaz pipeline to Europe, which is expected
to come on line by 2009 and will run between Algeria and Spain.
