Angolan Plutonio field near full capacity after October restart
Crude oil output at BP's Plutonio oil field in Angola increased by 61,000 bpd from Jan. 30 and is now close to full
capacity, traders said.
Five cargoes, or 153,000 bpd, of Plutonio will now load in March, three cargoes more than the original schedule, but
still slightly behind the oilfield's optimum output of 210,000 bpd.
Plutonio production was closed on Aug. 16 2008 following an incident at a gas plant facility but restarted on Oct.
14.
The Plutonio oil field operated by Britain's BP is one of the newer fields in Angola. It only started production in
Sept 2007.
