Libya will invest in an oil refinery and a number of construction projects in Egypt under a deal during a visit to Tripoli by Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, a Libyan official said.
Aside from the refinery, Libya will also build service stations as well as an industrial and residential complex in its neighbour, the official told. The neighbours are also working towards establishing a free exchange zone on their border, he added.

The official said Libya planned to increase its total investments in Egypt to $ 10 bn from close to $ 1 bn now.
Mubarak was in Tripoli for talks with his Libyan counterpart Moamer Kadhafi on the situation in Sudan's conflict ridden Darfur as well as developments in the Palestinian territories, the official said.
