Sudan invites PSCI unit to bid for oil and gas projects

Shipbuilder PSC Industries (PSCI) has decided to venture into oil and gas exploration activities following an
invitation by the Sudanese government to bid for such projects in that country.
On Jan 14, PSCI said its subsidiary PSC Tenaga had been invited by Sudan's Ministry of Energy and Mining to
participate in the bidding of oil exploration and development activities.
PSCI said the invitation was for a bidding process slated for March 1 in Khartoum.
It also said Petronas Carigali White Nile (5B) of Sudan had included another PSCI subsidiary SC Sudan Oil & Gas
in its vendors’ list for any future pre-qualifying exercise for development projects in Sudan.
