CNPC awards Saipem Algeria LNG contract

China Petroleum Jilin Chemical Engineering & Construction Co., an engineering unit of CNPC, has signed a contract
with Italian Saipem’s Snamprogetti to develop an LNG project in Algeria worth of $ 96.13 mm.
The company said this is the first time it has joined with a European company in an overseas project.
CNPC is the parent company of PetroChina.
