Maurel & Prom starts production from Onal field in Gabon

Maurel & Prom reported that production at the Onal field began on March 9, 2009 with the opening of the first 11
wells on platforms PF-500, PF-700 and PF-900, at an initial provisional rate of 10,000 bpd at 100 %.
Oil processing and storage commenced at the Onal facilities on February 23, following the start-up of the Omko field
(production of 3,000 bpd at 100 %).
The export pipeline (120 km) between Onal and the Coucal delivery point is currently being filled.
The first oil is expected to arrive at Coucal.
