Iran to set up refinery in Mozambique

Aug. 6, 1998 The Iranian government will soon establish an oil refinery company in Beira, a port city in east Mozambique, at which Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique will be partners in the project.
Ahmad Edrisian, outgoing Iranian ambassador to Zimbabwe said the refinery will process about 100,000 tons of oil per year.
