Kazakhstan boosts oil- and gas production

Kazakhstan produced 25.731 mm tons of oil in the first seven months of 2003, 10 % more than in the same period of
last year. Natural gas production rose 15 % to 3.985 bn cm, the national statistics agency told.
Gas condensate production was up 20 % to 3.453 mm tons.
Kazakhstan produced 42.37 mm tons of oil in 2002, 16.6 % more than in 2001.
Natural gas production was up 13.2 % to 13.2 % to 13.137 bn cm.
