Russian TNK wins tender for majority stake in Ukraine's Linos refinery

Russian Tyumen oil company (TNK) is the winner of the tender for a majority stake in Ukraine's second largest oil refinery Linos, a State Property Fund (SPF) spokeswoman said. TNK will pay 50 mm hryvnas ($ 9.2 mm) for the stake and handle at least 387 mm hryvnas ($ 71.2 mm) of Linos' debts. Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yushchenko and TNK representative are expected to sign the purchase agreement.
