Azerbaijan finds positive aspects in use of Odessa-Brody-Plock pipeline
The president of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic Rovnag Abdullayev received the Ukrainian delegation that
included the representatives of Ukrtransnafta and Ukrnaftan, as well as Polish specialists jointly functioning with
Ukrainians within the grant of the European Union.
The representatives of the Ukrainian delegation provided information about lengthening of the Odessa-Brody to Plock
pipeline in Poland. Besides, the Ukrainian representatives expressed their interest in creating a joint enterprise
with Azerbaijan that will realize an oil refinery.
According to the president of SOCAR, Azerbaijan is interested in establishing alternative canals to deliver its oil
to the European market. From this point of view, the prospects of the Odessa-Brody-Plock pipeline may be
considered.
“In this project, of the European Union’s support to Azerbaijan may appear as positive aspects,”
told Abdullayev.
