Kazakhstan issued decree listing entities not subject to privatisation

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has issued a decree listing the state-owned entities, which will not be subject to privatisation. According to Nazarbayev, the decree, has been adopted in order to ensure that the state maintains regulatory control over bodies of special strategic importance for the republic.
The list is wide ranging and includes main oil and gas trunk pipelines, military property, interregional electricity grids and reservoirs with hydrotechnical facilities.
