Kazakhstan plans growth in gas output

Kazakhstan is planning to increase its gas production from 10 bn cm to 80 bn cm by 2015, Kazakhstani President Nursultan Nazarbayev declared. He reported these plans after talks with Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin.
Nazarbayev noted that cooperation with Moldova in the sphere of gas transit was promising for Kazakhstan, because the republic was planning to raise its gas exports.
