Sinopec finds more gas in Songnan Area

Recently, Sinopec Northeast Oil & Gas Company struck gas in the Bk62 well of the Songnan Area in the southern
part of Songliao Basin.
Daily gas output of the well reaches 26,000 cm. It can produce 98,000 cm gas if the company did not curb its
outflows.
The area of the block is 1,200 sq km and gas reserves are estimated to be 340 mm cm.
Sinopec plans to place 9 explorations well in the area.
