Norway oil production seen rising to 2001, declining after 2007

Annual production of oil is expected to rise from 1999 to 2001, peaking at 3.6 mm bpd in 2001, and fall back to under
the 1998 level after 2007, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said.
Natural gas will peak at 80 bn cm by 2007, increasing natural gas' share of total Norwegian petroleum production to
30 % from 21 % in 1998.
