Turkish refiner to invest EUR 1.4 bn in diesel production

Director General of Turkish Petroleum Refineries Corporation (Tupras), Yavuz Erkut, said his company decided to make
an investment worth $ 2 bn (EUR 1.4 bn) in order to increase the production of diesel fuel.
Tupras's decision came after consumption of diesel fuel in Turkey had gone significantly up in recent months.
The company will build a new refinery for diesel fuel.
Tupras is Turkey's largest industrial enterprise, with a 28.1 mm ton crude processing capacity.
