EU approves GdF Suez and GEK to jointly control Greek power plants
The European Commission cleared France's energy giant GdF Suez to acquire joint control of two Greek power stations
with Greece's construction and energy company GEK Terna.
GdF's unit Electrabel International Holdings will take joint control of Heron Thermoelectric and Heron II Viotia
Thermoelectric Station. It will share control with GEK Terna, which currently exclusively owns the plants.
