Iran and Slovenia talk on exporting Iran's LNG to Europe

Managing Director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) Roknoddin Javadi who is in Slovenia on an invitation extended by that country's Finance Minister Andrej Bajuk, met with that country's Gas Ministry officials.
During the meeting in Slovenia's capital, Bratislava, the two sides exchanged ideas on a project aimed at exporting Iran's liquidated natural gas (LNG) to European destinations, including Slovenia.

The two sides meanwhile surveyed ways to expand Tehran-Bratislava's cooperation in other energy fields. Javadi during the meeting elaborated on the Islamic Republic of Iran's capabilities and technical facilities in oil and gas industry, announcing Tehran's readiness to export natural gas to all countries, including the European ones.
Slovenia's finance ministry and gas company officials, present at the meeting, too, announced their country's interest in expanding cooperation with Iran in oil and gas fields.

The two sides meanwhile agreed during the meeting to continue high level consultations aimed at finding more fields for cooperation and easier exchange of useful information.
The NIGC managing director is also scheduled to meet and confer with finance and energy officials in Slovakia and a few other European countries in other legs of his European tour.
