Saudi oil exports to Germany decreased in 2001

Official statistics show that the volume of the Saudi oil exports to Germany decreased to 4 mm tons in 2001, down
from 4.6 mm tons in 2000. These figures translate into an 11 % fall.
The volume of Syrian oil exports to Germany increased to 7.3 mm tons in 2001, up from 7.1 mm tons in 2000. Syria is
now the fifth largest oil exporter in the Arab World to Germany.
