Russia and Poland to boost throughput capacity of Druzhba pipeline

Russia and Poland have agreed to boost the throughput capacity of the Druzhba oil pipeline by 4 mm tpy. The relevant agreement was reached at the 5th meeting of the joint Polish-Russian commission on economic cooperation in Warsaw. The document also provides for supplying Russian crude oil to the Polish port of Gdansk. In the future, up to 8 mm tons of Russian crude will be supplied through Gdansk annually.
