Russia's gas export monopoly Gazprom boosted gas exports to Europe by 26 % year on year in the first half of 2011, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said.
"Exports to non-CIS countries grew by 26.6 bn cm or by 26 %," Miller said.

Gazprom has raised its 2011 revenue forecast from gas exports to Europe to $ 60 bn from $ 53-55 bn following its strong performance in the first five months of the year.
'We’ll set a new record for foreign currency revenues," Miller said.

Last year, Gazprom increased gas export revenues to $ 43.9 bn from $ 42.5 bn.
Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev has predicted that Gazprom's total revenues from exports to CIS countries, a loose association of former Soviet republics, and non-CIS countries could hit $ 72 bn in 2011.
