Castello gas field near Milan goes on stream

Po Valley Energy, Perth, has started gas production from Castello field east of Milan, Italy, at 1.5 mm cfpd
targeting a plateau level of 2.5 mm cfpd.
The company expects to start production soon at a comparable rate from Sillaro field east of Bologna.
Castello has an estimated economic reserve life of 10-12 years, while Sillaro will have a production life of 15-20 years based on known reserves.
