Poland completes first gas-pumping unit on Yamal gas pipeline

The construction of the first gas-pumping unit on the Polish stretch of the Yamal-Western Europe pipeline was
officially completed in Kondratki, Podlasie province. There will be five such units in Poland.
Poland wants to buy 2.7 billion cubic meters of gas sent via the pipeline from Russia, Andrzej Brach, the deputy head
of the Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG), said.
