Iran to see 11 petrochemical projects to come on stream by yearend

By the end of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2010) 11 petrochemical projects will come on stream, National Petrochemical Company managing director said.
Adel Nejad-Salim was quoted saying that, "When these projects come on stream, all the under construction projects of the Fourth Socio-Economic Development Plan will have been implemented."

These projects will add a total of 8.8 mm tons to the country's annual petrochemical production capacity.
The projects will be launched at an estimated cost of $ 5.1 bn.
