NIOC completes 3-D seismography in Azadegan oil field

Director of Exploration Department of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) announced that 3-D seismography in
Azadegan oil field has ended. Mahmoud Mohaddes added that at present, information obtained through 3-D seismographic
studies in Azadegan oil field are being processed.
He noted that gleaning information related to 3-D seismography in Yadavaran oil field, which ended in late September
has been finalized.
The official said seismographic operations in Abadan started over 1,300 km in Abadan region and expressed hope that
the project will be finished in time.
The 3-D seismography in Azadegan oil field has been carried out over more than 1,744 sq km.
