Iran has invited international companies as well as local firms to submit by May 26 tenders for the exploration of the Larak, Tusan, Forooz, Alvand, Hamoon, Dayyer, Iran Mehr and Bushehr. If these tenders are awarded, in effect all of Iran’s offshore territory will be covered by exploration licenses.
The NIOC will give seismic data and other relevant information to interested bidders at the NIOC Exploration Room until March 11. Bidders are required to pay $ 50,000 for the tender documents of each block and submit a $ 350,000 bid bond. Bids should be made in three parts: a technical proposal, an unpriced contractual and financial proposal and a price proposal.

In another development, the Pars Oil and Gas Company invited international consultants to bid for the provision of management and consultancy services for the South Pars Gasfield Phases 9 and 10.
The successful bidders would supervise the engineering, procurement and construction of works to be carried out by the South Korean LG company and the Iranian companies IOEC and OIEC.
