Iraq oil exports slip to 2,106 mm bpd in January 2012

Iraq's crude oil exports slipped to 2.106 mm bpd in January from 2,145 mm bpd in December, industry sources said.
Iraq shipped 1,711 mm bpd from the southern oil hub of Basra in January versus 1,733 mm bpd in December.

Shipments from the northern fields around Kirkuk were 395,000 bpd in January versus 412,000 bpd in December, the sources said.
Baghdad aims to boost Basra Light shipments to 1.9 mm bpd in February after a new single point mooring in the Gulf starts to operate.
