Iran to improve production from oil rich regions
A project for optimisation and improvement of production and surface installations at southern Iranian oil regions is
to be carried out by investing Rls. 19 bn.
The deputy for structure engineering at the National Iranian South Oil Company added that the project included
conceptual, explanative and economic feasibility studies.
Ali Sadeqinejad added that exploitation, desalination, gas and liquid gas, collection of associated gas, pump
stations and pipelines were main installations related to the project.
"The project would be carried out in three phases for big, medium and other oil and gas fields," he said.
The official noted that feasibility studies were underway and the project would be carried out through international tender bid according to EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) scheme.
