Kalpataru wins transmission lines project in Kuwait
Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPT) said it has got an order worth $ 250 mm for building transmission lines in
Kuwait.
Apart from laying 172 km, 400 kV double circuit transmission line, the company will also manufacture towers for the
same.
The order is scheduled to be completed in 24 months and involves procurement of materials such as conductors,
insulators which are required for completing the turnkey project, besides 25,000 tons of galvanized steel towers from
the company's facility in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, KPT said.
With this order, the current order book size of KPT is Rs 4,700 crore ($ 925 mm) and most of the projects have to be
completed within 18 to 24 months, KPT added.
