Unocal acquires 30% in Oleoducto Transandino
Unocal has acquired from Inter Rio Holdings a 30% stake on the oil transportation company Oleoducto Transandino for an undisclosed sum. Transandino has 424 km of pipelines connecting Neuquen in Argentina to Concepcion, Chile, with a capacity of 115,000 bpd of crude and runs at 97,000 bpd. The facility is operated by Oleoducto Transandino Argentina and Oleoducto Transandino Chile both controlled by A&C Pipeline Holding Company. Other partners in Oleoducto Transandino are YPF (57,75%) and Enap (12,25%).
