Venezuela interested to expand refinery capacity in Russia

Two-year delays in expansion projects at PDVSA refineries in the United States will in all probability lead to a greater rapprochements with the Russian Federation as Venezuela seeks to expand its own refinery capacity in Venezuela at the giant Jose terminal near Puerto La Cruz.
OPEC General-Secretary, Ali Rodriguez Araque has had preliminary conversations with Russian oil executives in Moscow and follow-up meetings are being held with President Hugo Chavez Frias. Rodriguez says Venezuela is very interested in expansion, to prospect, pump and produce both oil and natural gas within a set time frame.
