Camuzzi plans energy project in southern region of Chile

Argentinean group Camuzzi considers developing a gas and electrical energy project in the southern region of Chile. The group wants to develop a gas transportation and distribution project through pipelines, besides a power generating plant.
This project will comprise the VIII, IX and X regions of the country. Natural gas is present mostly in the residential niche in Santiago and V Region. If Camuzzi produces natural gas in the VIII, IX and X regions, with the years it could bring difficulties to liquefied gas companies.
