Pemex sees 7.5 % decline in crude output from Jan-Oct
Pemex said its crude oil production averaged 2.61 mm bpd during the January-October period, down 7.5 % from the same
period in 2008.
Crude output in October totalled 2.60 mm bpd, virtually unchanged from the previous month, but lower than the 2.76 mm
bpd reported in October 2008.
Pemex's crude exports in the first 10 months of the year averaged 1.22 mm bpd, down 13 % from 1.40 mm bpd in the same
period last year.
Crude exports rose to 1.24 mm bpd in October from 1.13 mm in September, but were down from 1.43 mm in the year-ago
month. The average price per barrel was $ 68.79, compared with $ 64.10 in September and $ 60.27 in October 2008.
Pemex said its natural gas production in the 10-month period rose to 7.051 bn cfpd from 6.842 bn cfpd in the year-ago
period.
In October, natural gas production totalled 7.170 bn cfpd.
